Despite facing many challenges, Flannel, the resilient kitten, never let his difficulties dim his spirit. He embraced life with a heart full of love for everyone he met.
Found wandering alone and unable to see due to a severe upper respiratory infection, Flannel’s situation was dire. When a Tails High volunteer heard about his urgent need for rescue, she wasted no time stepping in to help.
In just a few days of foster care, Flannel transformed into a bundle of affection. “From the moment he was rescued, he showered his foster mom with kisses, head boops, and endless snuggles,” the rescue shared.

Flannel quickly adapted to his new environment, curling up in laps and lavishing everyone around him with boundless affection. “Despite everything he had endured, he purred his way through it all,” the rescue remarked.
“Though we don’t know how Flannel came to be alone and struggling outside in such poor condition, it’s clear he must have experienced human care and companionship at some point in his life.”

Flannel, despite his lack of sight, quickly mastered his environment. He skillfully navigated the house, climbed stairs effortlessly, and used the litter box with confidence.
Following his eye surgery, Flannel’s comfort and energy soared. “He’s never let anything hold him back, even after such a difficult start in life and all the challenges he faced before being rescued.”

Flannel had a natural charm with other cats, happily letting them pounce on his head during playtime and snuggling close during naps. “He’s a sweetheart to every human and kitty he meets, always craving love and affection.”
At every meet-and-greet, Flannel stole hearts by curling up in potential adopters’ laps and demonstrating his impressive high jumps. His blindness never slowed him down or dimmed his playful spirit.

That’s when Flannel captured Betsy’s heart and had her smitten in no time.
“She shared the qualities she was searching for in a companion and opened up about healing from the loss of her beloved senior cat. We just knew Flannel was the perfect match for her.”

Flannel quickly made himself at home, confidently strutting around with boundless energy. Before long, he was zooming around, leaping and scaling furniture like a little ninja.
With his fearless spirit and endless curiosity, he’s become the perfect companion and travel buddy.

Flannel is truly living his best life—greeting neighbors in the lobby, playfully distracting his mom from work, and soaking in the sights and smells of the city from his favorite window perch.
Having always longed for a constant companion, Flannel was overjoyed when Betsy brought home a new feline brother, Abba. He was instantly smitten with his new friend.

At first, Abba was incredibly shy, retreating behind the couch as he adjusted to the unfamiliar sights and sounds of his new home. But with a good TV program and lots of patience, he gradually began to come out of his shell. The real magic, however, happened when he met Flannel.
Flannel’s confidence and friendly nature seemed to calm Abba, giving him the courage to embrace his new environment and his new feline friend.

After their initial sniffing greeting, Flannel and Abba quickly became fast friends. They zipped around the house, sharing toys and embarking on playful adventures. When they were finally worn out from all the fun, they would curl up together, falling asleep side by side, their purrs harmonizing in peaceful contentment.
Flannel melts whenever Abba wraps himself around him, gently washing his face in a show of affection.

Abba adores his little brother, Flannel, who is completely obsessed with him. The two are inseparable, spending every moment together, whether playing or cuddling.
“Flannel’s fairy tale is one that inspires us to keep fighting for the underdog… or rather, the undercat.”
